This Privacy Policy explains how ALASSY LLC, operating the ALASSY Packaging website at alassypackaging.com (“ALASSY,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles personal information submitted through this website.
Information we collect
When you create an account or submit a product inquiry or pre-roll tube customization request, we collect the business and contact information you provide, which may include name, company name, business email, phone number, state or sales market, business website, business type, product interest, quantity, custom-packaging interest, warning copy, production notes, and your message. For pre-roll tube requests, we may also store artwork, logo files, and the generated design preview. We record the consent version, submission time, source page, private order status and shipping updates associated with the request.
If an approved order is paid online, PayPal processes the payment credentials. ALASSY receives and stores the payment status, final amount and currency, PayPal order and transaction identifiers, timestamps, and payer or shipping details PayPal returns for order fulfillment, fraud prevention, reconciliation, refunds and transaction records. ALASSY does not receive or store the full card number entered through PayPal.
Our hosting and security systems may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, requested URLs, timestamps, and security events. This information is used to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure customer accounts, review and respond to inquiries, review submitted artwork and artwork fit, prepare proofs and commercial terms, process and verify approved payments, fulfill and track orders, prevent fraud, maintain business and transaction records, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing email.
When information is shared
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for third-party advertising. We may provide limited information to service providers that support this website and our order workflow, including DigitalOcean for hosting and infrastructure, Feishu for business email delivery, PayPal for payment processing, and shipping carriers for delivery. These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or public authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, prevent fraud, or address a legal claim.
Cookies and analytics
The public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies or load third-party analytics scripts. We count page views, product and video activity, and steps in the inquiry process using our own cookie-free measurement. We keep only daily totals for a defined set of activities, for up to 90 days. Encrypted backups may retain these totals after deletion: under the normal maximum backup schedule, copies may remain for approximately 155 days from the measurement date (90 days in current records, up to 35 days in encrypted offsite backups, and approximately 30 days in Google Drive trash). These measurements do not store IP addresses, browser or device details, requested URLs, form contents, email addresses, browser-storage identifiers or cross-site identifiers. Essential cookies support customer and administrator sign-in, security and account functions. When PayPal checkout is displayed or opened, PayPal may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy practices.
Retention
Product inquiry and pre-roll customization records stored on this website, including associated design files and previews, are normally retained for up to 24 months after submission. Account, paid-order, payment, refund and related business records may be retained longer when reasonably required for fulfillment, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, security investigation, dispute, chargeback, contract or legal obligations. A website record may also be kept longer when an authorized user applies a documented retention hold for one of those reasons. Operational security logs are generally kept for shorter periods unless an event requires further investigation.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information from your product inquiry or pre-roll customization request, subject to applicable law and records we are required to retain. Send requests to gary@alassypackaging.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children
This business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
